Pixilation Based Animation

Example Of Cel Animation

When someone says the word "cartoon," what we see in our head is usually cel animation. Cartoons today rarely use the pure cel animation of the past, instead employing computers and other technology to help make the process better. There is 25 frames per second in cel animation, they made it by using clear plastic over a piece of paper, which has a drawing on it.

What We Did Today - 13th Oct 2011

What we did today, in our group with Emily, Jordan, Tim and me, was get the cut out animation recorded, with the program I stop motion, using a magnetic webcam, by getting the cut out of a sandwich we had, which we cut into pieces to from the sandwich, and some other random images and making them fit together, it took about 20 minutes to do, because it was a slow process, as the cut outs could not be moved to fast as it would ruin it, and would not look as good as been moved slowly.
