What We Did Today - 13th Oct 2011

What we did today, in our group with Emily, Jordan, Tim and me, was get the cut out animation recorded, with the program I stop motion, using a magnetic webcam, by getting the cut out of a sandwich we had, which we cut into pieces to from the sandwich, and some other random images and making them fit together, it took about 20 minutes to do, because it was a slow process, as the cut outs could not be moved to fast as it would ruin it, and would not look as good as been moved slowly.

Research for Stop Motion Animation

This is an example of time lapse, I found on Vimeo.

Savannah Timelapse from Nicholas Reichard on Vimeo.

This is the video again, but with title and credits.

I researched stop motion animation in the Primary research method, which is such as personal experience and other people's experience such as videos or interview.

Secondary research is when some one else has already found the information examples are the Internet and books.

A time lapse animation works with a camera in a certain place, such as a webcam, with pictures and when you play the pictures, it looks like a animation.

We got in to groups and tried out stop animation time lapse, and we produced a 20 second animation on a program called I Stop motion, in our group we had Ashleigh, Emily, Jack and me.

This is our 1st try at time lapse animation.

What Is Persistence Of Vision.

Persistence Of Image is where an image is retained by the eye for a short period of time, creating an illusion of continuous motion in film.
